AS Built/ As Constructed Drawings

Our CAD drafting services support As Built Drawings for Electrical, Hydraulic, Mechanical & Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) projects. Commercial and residential buildings, government and education contracts are all prepared to the highest quality of drafting standards. 

We update your marked up contractor drawings to ‘as installed' conditions, up issue revision numbers and history tables. Outputs include PDF & DWG files, plots and CD copies.

Engineering/ Mechanical Drawing

We provide engineering drawing services to help capture your mechanical design in CAD. We take your information which may be from a variety of sources including engineering calculations, design sketches, OEM technical drawings and prototype mock ups and enter the data into CAD.

Deliverables may include part, sub assembly and assembly drawings with isometric, cross section and exploded views. Additional details may include bill of materials with part numbers, stock system identifiers and separate drawing numbers.   

We can either adopt your CAD templates and protocols or develop a customised solution.   

Design/ Patent Drawings

Clear and concise line drawings are an integral part of patent applications and design drawings.  To help protect a client's intellectual property, DAP can assist with technical drawings to help create clearly defined illustrations for your patent application.

Projected drawing views, sections, detail views and isometric images are often required to capture the design intent of your invention. We can use your loose concept pages with initial ideas through to manipulating existing or creating new CAD data.

Shop/ Construction Drawings

To proceed to the manufacturing stage shop drawings are needed to convey the design and specify details to production staff. We can construct such drawings on our standard templates or tailor a layout to meet our client's needs.

All materials, finishes and tolerance information can be captured along with Bill Of Materials (BOM's) and special notations. For clients manufacturing in China, drawings can also include Mandarin notation to help clarify requirements abroad on the shop floor.

Architectural/ Landscape Drafting

Looking to convert your hand drawn sketches, dimensions and design notes of floor plans and garden scapes into professional looking CAD drawings? We can assist with everything from shop fit out cabinetry, capturing existing home plans, reflected ceiling plans, demolition drawings, through to soft and hard landscapes.  

Drawings can be developed on our standard CAD templates from A4 through to A0. Alternatively, we can build a customised solution using your own company logo, contact information and any other details specific to your requirements. 

Paper to CAD

We provide a paper to CAD conversion service for transferring hand sketches and plan drawings into your required CAD format. Engineering and shop drawings can also be converted from existing paper documentation. Suitable for HVAC, product design, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, retail, commercial and domestic spaces.

Outputs can be extended from black and white line drawings to refined presentation and marketing images. Drawing templates and CAD protocols come as standard and can be customised for the client.

CAD Conversion

Our CAD conversion service means you can now superseded your old CAD system. These outdated systems often contain valuable company information considered too time consuming and expensive to recreate. This can result in a legacy system being maintained to access data which never gets upgraded to the new CAD software. 

Similarly, large vaults of CAD information could be more accessible and more widely used had the drawings been saved as readable PDF's.
