Metal & Plastic Capabilities

Through our network of Asian partners we can assist with plastic Blow Moulding, Vacuum Forming, Injection Moulding and Ultrasonic Welding. Metal manufacture is supported with Casting, Machining, Forming, Fabrication and Welding along with Tooling, Dies and Moulds. 

Ancillary manufacturing services supported include finishing such as chrome plating, silk screening, spray painting and powder coating. Packaging capabilities include pad printing, labelling, offset printing and final assembly.

Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance (QA) processes are custom designed to meet the requirements of a product, the desired cost and necessary quality. We partner with our clients to understand the key necessities and are specialised in locating the most suitable supplier, communicating the technical requirements to the shop floor and developing and monitoring the QA program. 

We’ve developed a quality control system that enables flexibility so we can customise a program that matches your product requirements and tolerances. During trials we establish acceptable standards and benchmark production against physical samples.

Ongoing random sampling and inspections are performed to ensure standards are maintained.

Pilot Runs & Low Volume Production

Pilot runs are relatively short periods of manufacture and assembly often undertaken on the production line. The process is constructive as assembly workers learn the required processes and potential problems are identified and eliminated early. It delivers low volumes of product suitable for field testing ahead of commercialisation.

We can coordinate with multiple suppliers and later assemble, test and package such units at an assembly site. Ask how we can assist with low volume requirements.

Component Sourcing

Finding suppliers of standard parts requires experience, is time consuming and difficult to perform remotely. Our on-ground resources in China have the market knowledge and are obviously well positioned geographically to locate any off-the-shelf parts required.

The ground work to identify potential suppliers, conduct site visits and evaluate supplier capabilities is done by DAP. We recommend using our team to negotiate the most favourable terms with the supplier.
