Pilot Runs & Low Volume Production

Pilot runs are relatively short periods of manufacture and assembly often undertaken on the production line. The process is constructive as assembly workers learn the required processes and potential problems are identified and eliminated early. It delivers low volumes of product suitable for field testing ahead of commercialisation.

We can coordinate with multiple suppliers and later assemble, test and package such units at an assembly site. Ask how we can assist with low volume requirements.

Gears

Gears (spur, worm, helical and bevelled) give a mechanical advantage and now DAP can provide you with a cost and delivery time benefit too. We offer a gear manufacturing service to your specifications through our Asian suppliers.

Whether it’s prototype gears with modules less than 1.0 or larger mass-produced items in materials which include nonferrous alloys, cast irons, powder-metallurgy and plastics we can help.
